HOW TO ENJOY 3 COUNTRIES IN 3 DAYS 🇦🇹🇸🇰🇨🇿

Our last adventure saw us travel comfortably to 3 countries in 3 days - Vienna in Austria, Bratislava in Slovakia and Prague in Czech Republic.
We enjoyed Christmas markets, cruised on the Danube, went ice skating, rode Ferris wheels, did an opera (which was phenomenal) took a horse drawn carriage through the centre, saw the Christmas Krampus and drank lots of gluhwein as well as lots of amazing food, got inked and had the absolute best time!
Here’s a recap of what we got up to:
DAY 1: VIENNA AUSTRIA
We rented an apartment for 2 nights in the centre close to the Rathaus and spent the whole of the first day and night enjoying all Vienna has to offer.
DAY 2: BRATISLAVA SLOVAKIA
From Vienna we travelled by train (less than €12 per person return by train) to Bratislava Slovakia. We caught an early train taking just over an hour to get to Bratislava and soaked up this incredible city for the full day. We caught a late train back to our apartment we had booked in Vienna for another night.
DAY 3 PRAGUE CZECH REPUBLIC
The following day was an early morning start. We caught the train to Prague, Czech Republic for our final 2 nights. We booked our train only one way as we have 2 nights in Prague. From here we flew back to the UK. The trip took around 4 1/2 hours, there are private family cabins and a restaurant on the train.
It’s is really difficult to determine which city we liked the best. They are all absolutely stunning but so very different in many ways
Vienna was bustling and great for children as lots to do. The Christmas markets are the most famous and most visited in Europe.
Bratislava was more traditional, and we got to see Krampus make an appearance. Much smaller but a lot more authentic especially when it came to the incredible food and traditional costume.
Prague I think architecturally speaking was the most beautiful and the markets are huge with my favourite Christmas tree close to the clock tower.
We have had the absolute best time, 3 beautiful cities in 3 beautiful days.
First impressions count ... and what an impression the Mozart gives!
This December the travel team took a river cruise on Riverside Mozart - the absolute crème dal la crème of river cruising - along the Danube. During the cruise, they visited Passau Germany, Linz Austria and Vienna for sight seeing, as well as the Christmas markets.
Every little detail onboard this ship is perfectly planned - even down to the heated toilet seats with remote control bottom washes that blow dry your booty after you have taken a drizzle! This ship is pure luxury at its finest.
The food - wow just wow - this is by far the best cruise food we have ever experienced. The service is elite. The finest all inclusive premium cruise ship they have ever stepped foot on, and the team were bowled over by their beautiful harmony suites - complete with both a cabin boy and a butler! To say they felt truly pampered was an understatement!
If your looking for a premium river cruise - this ship will not disappoint! It comes highly recommended by the team that's for sure!

Absolutely loving Virgin Cruises Positive attitude towards LGBTQ sailors The Virgin brand has long been known for its celebration of the LGBTQ community, and newcomer cruise line Virgin Voyages is no different. This line gets the stamp of approval from LGBTQ cruisers, who praise the ships' onboard shows with resident drag queens and diverse staff. Virgin Voyages also offers gay-specific sailings but its more mainstream itineraries still offer a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere that attracts LGBTQ cruisers year-round. Virgin also hosts a number of events during Pride Month each year, including deck parties and interactive social media campaigns. Each June Virgin Voyages like to go big for Pride Month with larger-than-life events … all month long – to honor and celebrate the LGBTQ community; who for so long has had to continually fight for equality and the right to be seen, heard, and included." Permission obtained to share photos from the queer coven who I met on our sailing
June is LGBTQ+ pride month, a celebration and commemoration which started in 1969 with the stonewall riots marching for equality. Today Pride is celebrated across the world, we even have ships with dedicated sailings for the gay community, we have come a long way. Europe is considered the most accepting continent and vacations here you can be your true self. This year I have stayed in Miami with my partner, a quick few days before joining a cruise ship to transit from the Atlantic to Pacific Ocean via the Panama Canal. I find cruising is a great way to see places where being gay is perhaps not accepted, you get to stay within the accepting western world on board your ship and have days visiting parts of the world you may not want to stay for longer, but still want to see. I will never not travel, the world is here for me to see. It is mine as much a anyone else’s to explore.
Super Yacht Celebrations in Miami Eagle weekend and both the UK and the USA are celebrating our successes onboard a 50 million dollar yacht!!
When our CEO throws a party he certainly knows how to throw a party!
The leaders retreat this weekend was an incredible few days of training from the top leaders in our business were I’ve taken so many take always it’ll take me a week to process them all. Alongside the value of the training we stayed in two beautiful lodges on Tattershall Lake, right on the lake with a hot tub to boot, great company and new friendships formed I think it’s safe to say we’ll be back.
Majorca 22 of us last week gathered at Oceans Beach Club Majorca for a weekend celebrating co- founder of Making Travel Pay Hayleys hen party A fabulous long weekend full of sunshine, banter and flowing Prosecco One of the things I love best about this business is the community that I’m a part of. It’s not just those online friendships you build over time, the friendships I have made are real and everlasting From strangers to business partners to friends to a lifetime more of making incredible memories and sharing magical moments.
Team trips are so much fun! and a great way to get so much more from your business . We have such an incredible community here at making travel pay To be surrounded by people who love adventure and travel so much like yourself is pretty awesome! The Italian retreat was amazing, hosted by our social media coach and insta queen Lizzie . In April we all headed to the Amalfi coast for some sunshine , training , sightseeing and of course some fabulous Italian food . We learnt so much and left feeling ready to take our businesses next level Surround yourself with like minded people and watch the magic happen. It’s crazy to think that a year ago most of us were strangers , strangely enough it was the first time many of us had met however we left great friends and we will certainly be planning a return trip . What an incredible weekend with incredible ladies
Christmas Market Team Trip to Budapest, December 2022 It’s been a huge pleasure and lots of fun to participate in the team trip to Budapest in December 2022! I think meeting the other business partners could be a very motivating and memory building experience: We enjoyed drinks and meals together in some great locations of Budapest We had a chance to talk business, but also enjoy each other’s company It was a chance for me to meet my Mentor - Hayley France. It’s a great opportunity to meet your business partners and build a great bond! During those few days we explored Budapest and its historic area, where we had a chance to take a lot of photos! It was a super blast to swim in Szechenyi Baths, where we were drinking beer while enjoying a bath with beer ingredients in the water; not to mention laughter, discussions and more beer! Outdoor heated pool was super fun too - I couldn’t believe it was only 3 degrees outside! The water was super warm and enjoyable. We couldn’t miss the River cruise - unforgettable views of the city and its impressive part - the Parliament. Also, lots of a great time and laughter in the Museum of Sweets and Candy - the photos we have taken there were super fun! I can’t wait to join another team trip soon!
What do you think when someone says River Cruising? High end luxury, unreachable (NO)! River Cruising is a slower pace and you only have to unpack once! You get all of your packages with extras at one cost . We experienced all of these luxury cruising companies who came together to one location to share with us their world. We heard from industry leaders that expertly curated a conference and workshop programs sharing in cruise conversations and going over key topics of key ideas as well as new trends not only in cruising but sustainability. We had the chance to experience and live in the moment. We had first hand experiences on the River cruises on the Danube River. We saw, we experienced first hand what our clients will experience. What can I say, The food and rooms on these boats are absolutely stunning. I highly recommend attending these CLIA River Cruise Conferences in the future.
Just back from the city that invented pizza, Naples. Surrounding myself with the team really does spark the fire in my belly even more. I was amazed by the beauty of Naples. Such a picturesque little town with the most amazing blue sea. The pizza was also very very good and I may have over indulged in the pizza & may have had a few cheeky vinos. I definitely gained a few pounds but you only live once. We took a day trip to Pompei to visit the ruins, it really is incredible that these have been around since 79 A.D. The best bit about going on trips is we experience all of the place we visit. We immerse ourselves in the culture, we soak up the history, we experience the local cuisine and have lots of laughs along the way. From doing these trips we are all able to sell much more travel so it’s a win win!!!
Here we are having the absolute best time on our Peru , Ecuador and Galapagos trip with Newmarket Newmarket is one of the many suppliers we have access to book and earn a commission with, and one of my favorites.
They offer small group escorted tourists to some really incredible places .
The Galápagos Islands and Machu Picchu have always been so high on my bucket list , so this June I decided it was about time I got round go ticking them off Do you have a bucket list place you would like to travel …. This is my little boys 57th country in the last 6 years , I’m not saying that to boast but more to show you that this lifestyle is achievable for us all I run my travel business for less than £8 a week , you can’t even get a cocktail in London for that price!
My lifestyle has gone full circle. 360 degrees just like the globe and me and my little boy have no plans on slowing down Here we are at the top of Machu Picchu , next stop Ecuador and the Galapagos
We finally made it to meet Mickey and Minnie.
For anyone thinking of going to Disney, just do it.
This was so much better than I expected. Seeing my little girl have the best time was the best feeling in the world.
We visited Orlando and I can't believe how much there is to do over there. We visited both universal and Disney and had the best time.
I always thought cruising was for the newly wed or the nearly dead but wow!!
In September a few of our agents were invited exclusively onboard the Norwegian Prima on one of her first ever sailings.
We embarked in Amsterdam, docking in Belgium and France and disembarked in Southampton This was my first ever cruise and I absolutely loved it.
The food onboard the Prima was absolutely incredible.
I couldn’t believe how much entertainment there was onboard . It has certainly opened my eyes to what cruising is all about . I will definitely be sailing the Norwegian way again
I recently had the amazing opportunity to venture on board the beautiful MSC Divina cruise ship! My husband and I enjoyed everything the ship had to offer. This is a great ship for adults only, as well as families, as it offers a large variety of entertainment and activities. We loved our balcony cabin! It was spacious and very comfortable and clean at all times thanks to our amazing cabin attendant! The food was absolutely delicious, we loved going to the buffet more often that the main dining as it had more choices and it was faster. I loved the European feel reflected in the decor and food during the entire cruise.
I am living my retirement now! I am just back from a wonderful trip to the Courtyard Marriott in Kona, Hawaii! It was full of Hawaiian history and artifacts. I was able to attend the Merry Monarch festival where Hawaiians from all the islands came to play their ukeleles and dance in Hawaii's biggest hula competition. I found luaus and authentic Hawaiian guides to show my clients the 'true' Hawaii when they come in September and beyond. I am so excited for my future in this business and for the ways I will take my clients around the world!
Feeling on top of the world at Domes Zeen Chania. I’m such a hotel snob and you know it I absolutely love the hospitality that is signature of all the Domes Resorts. So here we are again back at the Domes Zeen in Crete Absolutely loving the vibe here, life doesn’t get much better than being able to call this my office and home for the next week
‘Wonder’ing why I love this?
On the 4th May I was lucky enough to join other agents and media representatives for the inaugural cruise onboard the ‘Wonder of the Seas’ (Royal Caribbean) from Barcelona.
We flew from London Stansted Airport to Barcelona where we were collected and transferred to the Port. We had a ‘quiz’ that we did on their app, where one lucky winner had the chance to win a seven night cruise later in the year! (Not yet announced at time of print). We got to see the cabins, take photos and experience everything they had to offer, from restaurants to activities. Now I’m a “adventure before dementia “ type of woman, so of course I had to do the zip line and the Abyss! It was incredible! Cocktails and drinks were offered throughout the ship and the staff/crew were just amazing!
On our second night, we were invited to the Chefs table for dinner!! Those of you who aren’t aware, the Chefs table is the most elite table available on cruise liners! Eight of us enjoyed the seven courses and it really was so special and delicious!! I’m not a three meal a day type of person at all, but wow, I managed to get through most of it!
So apart from helping clients booking their dream holidays we get to experience some of the holidays and cruises ourselves, which gives us the confidence and knowledge to inform our clients on what to expect!
Wonder no more! This is the most amazing business to be in! Where meeting new fellow agents whom have the same passion as you ends with friend’SHIPS (sea what I did there?) forever!
Hi I’m Savita, I love to Travel and I came across this business opportunity in June 2020 just before being made redundant September 2020.
I wasn’t sure what I was going to do after being in an employment for 38 years and when I came across this business opportunity it just made sense.
I love to travel and no sooner than coming back from one trip I would be searching to book the next trip.
I just love being in this business not only for the travel I can do, but also the personal development side and being with likeminded people who are now close friends who I travel with.
Recently I was able to take my first river cruise and learn about cruising on the Danube, Rhine and other rivers in Europe. I had never ever been on a cruise before as I thought it was for the older generation, but this cruise really blew me away and now I think I have the cruising bug.
So much so, I have just managed to book myself on a Seminar at Sea Training event with Carnival Pride for 11 nights where I will be doing some intense learning for 4 nights and then the rest of the time I will be able to experience all the cruise has to offer with my family. This event was only open to 100 agents from different travel agencies and I was lucky to be offered a place.
For someone who had never cruised before it just opened my eyes to another world of travel.
Being in the Industry does give you some great opportunities to learn the trade first hand by experiencing it yourself, which in turn enables you to then sell to your customers.
So if you are looking for an opportunity then I would say this one is a no brainer, you can earn while you learn, and experience more of the world at the same time. What are you waiting for.
