Hi, I’m Becca, and I’m so excited to share my journey with you since joining Making Travel Pay - a decision inspired by Hayley’s incredible story.

In 2020, I became a single mum to my amazing son, B. Life threw some tough challenges my way, including a long and costly court battle that left us homeless. Struggling with anxiety and stress, I was signed off work and eventually made redundant.

Fast forward to 2023, I met Dan—a truly wonderful partner who’s been a blessing to both B and me. With his support, life started turning around. I found a job I love as a Facilities Administrator, but deep down, I knew I wanted more for myself and my little family.

I dream of breaking free from the 9-to-5 grind, not just for me, but for B and Dan. I want to be a present parent and partner - someone who can do the school run, help with homework, and create unforgettable family adventures. Travel has always been my passion. After studying it in college and exploring many countries, I’m determined to share the world with my family. There’s no better time than now!

As we end 2024 on a high note, having just secured a home for the three of us, I’m ready for the next chapter. My 2025 goal is to build a brighter future for my family - and help others do the same.
